Your dog isn't being difficult.
Going right beside the pad every time isn't stubbornness — ordinary pads give no signal, so nothing tells your dog where to go.
The Barkaloo Spot Pad's built-in scent cue draws them back to the same spot, again and again. One clear spot, a clean home, no more clean-ups.

"Honestly bought this half-expecting it to be another dud, but it's the first thing that's given Luna a consistent spot in the apartment.
No weird smell when friends come over, which was my biggest worry living in a small space. It just looks tidy too, doesn't scream 'dog toilet' in my living room."

"My old Maltese Toby is 14 and started having accidents he just can't help, and it was breaking my heart cleaning up after him every night. This gave him a soft, non-slip spot of his own and he's settled on it so calmly — it's given him back a bit of dignity. That means everything to me at his age."

"I was going through a pack of disposables basically every week — half of them shredded or slid across the floor the second my Frenchie touched them.
Switched to this, washed it, done. Haven't bought a disposable since and it hasn't budged off the spot."
