Pees Right Next to the Pad? It's Not Your Fault — or Theirs.
You know it well: they squat half-off, it runs under the edge, he hits the wall — and when it soaks through, it's your floor, your carpet, your bond.
You've tried the lot: disposables they shred and drag, fake grass that just stinks. But you're not doing anything wrong and neither is your dog.
The pad is.
The Pad Your Dog Is Drawn Back To — Again and Again
The Barkaloo Spot Pad isn't just another pee pad. It's built to fix what disposables get wrong — starting with the one thing none of them do: give your dog a single, clear spot they'll actually come back to.

One down, one in the wash, one ready to go. A little rotation means there's always a clean, dry, familiar spot waiting — and with free shipping on every bundle, you'll still spend less this year than one more box of disposables a week.
Grab the 3-pack and never be caught without a dry pad again.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the scent cue work?
The Barkaloo Spot Pad has a built-in scent cue that gently signals to your dog "this is the spot." Dogs choose where to go by smell and habit, so that consistent cue draws them back to the same place again and again — instead of going right beside a plain, odourless pad.
Give it a consistent spot and a little time, and it becomes their go-to.
Is the Barkaloo Pad durable?
It's built tough for everyday use — a strong, quilted reusable surface that stands up to regular wear, washing and the usual digging and scratching far better than flimsy disposables that shred and drag.
It's made to last wash after wash. (That said, no pad is truly indestructible — a determined chewer treating it as a toy is a different story)
Will my house smell like dog pee?
No — that's the whole point. The pad is designed to absorb and lock moisture in and control odour between washes, so it won't leave your home (or your laundry) smelling.
For most people it's far fresher than binning wet disposable pads every day.
How do I wash the Barkaloo Pad?
Easy — shake off any solids, then pop it straight in the washing machine on a cool or warm cycle with your regular detergent. Hang or tumble dry on low and it's ready to go again.
We recommend having a spare in rotation so there's always a clean one down while the other's in the wash.
How many Barkaloo Spot Pads do I actually need?
Most people start with the 3-pack — one for the main spot, one for a second room, and a spare to use while the other's in the wash.
If you've got a bigger home, multiple dogs, or just want to never think about it, the 6-pack is the best value. One pad works perfectly to start; the bundles just make life easier.
What if my dog doesn't use it?
Give it a fair go — keep it in one consistent spot for at least 14 days so the scent cue can do its job. Most dogs settle in within a couple of weeks.
And if it's still not right for you, you're covered by our 30-day guarantee for a refund or exchange — so there's no risk in trying it.
